M&C Building Solutions did a rear / kitchen extension for us, as well as fitted the kitchen and flooring in said extension and our living and dinner rooms. Mark and team were a joy to work with - a friendly and professional team who worked to extremely high standards. Mark also took all the stress away from us with dealing with the local council and architect. We would highly recommend them.

We hired M&C for a side extension, partial garage conversion, and patio in September 2024 after considering them alongside four or five other contractors. In the end we went with M&C as they came well recommended by both local customers and those in the wider construction trade. The quote given was transparent, reasonable, and when converted into a contract remained accurate throughout the project; with no unexpected extra costs part way through the build. Payment was made before each stage of the works (excluding the final one), which initially made us a bit apprehensive. However, every stage progressed seamlessly and it soon became a non-issue. The core team was small but highly experienced and they worked alongside a few trusted subcontractors for certain trades like electrics and plumbing. We found that everyone who came on site kept it as tidy as reasonably possible and had complete respect for our home. The whole crew was incredibly reliable and well-coordinated. They turned up every day, stuck to the schedule, and communicated clearly. Each person was friendly, helpful, and genuinely committed to customer satisfaction, which is clearly a core value for them. Having major building works carried out on your house as you live in it is inherently stressful, but we found that this was significantly reduced by M&C taking the time to explain the process, answer our questions patiently and resolve any issues promptly and without fuss. Their calm and proactive approach helped to make the whole experience more manageable. Overall, we’re delighted with the results and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and personable building team.

M&C building solutions Ltd did our loft conversion back in 2023. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, polite and tidy! we are so happy with the finished product. They added 2 bedrooms, an en suite & 2 storage cupboards to our family home and we couldn’t be more pleased! We would always use them for any of our building works and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for works to be done.

Mark and his team sorted a fiddly job replacing part of our ceiling that had caved in following a leak. Started well with Mark doing exactly what he said he would do when he said he would do it, quoted on time, did the work on time. The guys did a fabulous job and we are really pleased with the results - you can’t see the repair at all. Clean, tidy, courteous and a pleasure to have around the house - would highly recommend and will use again.
